Successful tightness test of the first of the exchanged boilers (K15) in the Żerań heat and power plant.

The modernization of Ec Żerań, carried out by PeBeKa, is to adapt the second largest heat source in Warsaw to meet the IED emission standards. This is one of the largest ongoing investments in Poland.

The project assumes replacing two obsolete water boilers fired with coal dust, three modern water boilers fired with natural gas, thanks to which the emission of harmful substances to the atmosphere will be significantly reduced.

The first of three boilers, installed by PeBeKa on April 8, 2019, passed the leak test with the participation of the Office of Technical Inspection in Warsaw.
