PeBeKa S.A. signs Indian market cooperation agreement

On 6 April 2018 PeBeKa S.A., a member of the KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. Capital Group, signed a tripartite agreement with the company Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. and the Indo Polish Chamber of Commerce & Industry on cooperation in contract acquisition in the Indian market, in their respective areas of specialization.

In January 2018 the representatives of the company Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Kopalń PeBeKa S.A., a member of the KGHM Capital Group, participated in the Polish government's delegation promoting large Polish mining and power companies in the Indian market during the Bengal Global Summit held in Kolkata, India.

 

PeBeKa's offer presented at the summit resulted in an invitation extended to the company to participate in a team of entities intending to cooperate in the Indian market with respect to the sale of services, products, machinery and equipment offered by Polish enterprises. These actions will contribute to the broadly understood expansion of Polish businesses in foreign markets.

 

On 6 April 2018 PeBeKa, Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A., and the Indo Polish Chamber of Commerce & Industry signed a tripartite cooperation agreement. The agreement provides for the parties’ cooperation in the acquisition of contracts in the Indian market not only for the participating companies but also for other Polish businesses offering skills, competences and know-how demanded in the Indian market. Cooperation in sharing commercial information and submitting joint offers will help the parties to compete with other companies present in the Indiana market, to optimize their costs, and to prepare long-term development strategies.
