PeBeKa is modernising Głogów Copper Smelter

At the end of last year PeBeKa started works within the pyrometallurgy modernisation project in the Głogów I Copper Smelter, as one of the five general contractors.

The scope of work covers e.g. construction of the blower station building III, branch distribution station, foundations of the transport line for the blast furnace feedstock, construction of housings for overband electromagnetic separators over conveyors, to be used for elimination of metal elements from copper concentrate. Also, preparatory work is being carried out for construction of trestles and pipelines for external cooling circulation systems. In January, once the building permit becomes final and non-revisable, PeBeKa employees will also start construction of a switchhouse. Those works completion deadline passes in the first quarter of 2016.

Apart from PeBeKa, the following general contractors are participating in the Głogów CS pyrometallurgy modernisation project: Polimex-Tulcon, Mostostal–Kraków, Mostostal-Zabrze, and KGHM Zanam.
