PeBeKa holding fifth Pearl
Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Kopalń PeBeKa yet again received the prestigious Polish Economy Pearl title awarded to Polish largest companies by the Polish Market journal editor's office and specialists from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).
PeBeKa was distinguished in the "Large Pearls" category, within which the largest companies in Poland are classified. The company was honoured by "consistent performance of the company's policy and strategy and the leader position among most dynamic and most effective business entities in Poland”.
The "Polish Economy Pearl” certificates were presented at a ceremonious gala held on 7 November at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. The event was held under the auspices of Janusz Piechociński, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy, Prof. Michał Kleiber, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Prof. Tomasz Szapiro, Rector of the Warsaw School of Economy.
The Polish Economy Pearl competition is deemed to be the most objective among business rankings, as the list of winners is established based on easily measurable indicators. Ranking participation conditions comprise reaching by a company a minimum of PLN 100 million revenue and providing the company details (financial liquidity, growth effectiveness and dynamics are taken into account, among other things). This year, Pearls were awarded for the twelfth time, while PeBeKa received this prestigeous distinction for the fifth time.
